Planning a trip to Dublin?

I could not agree more. Taken at Considered Cafe, Drury Street.

Changement de décor.

My friends are going on a trip to Ireland this weekend so I thought that was the best time for me to share the days I spent in the “green” country, a few months back. On the Lonely planet book of the “1000 destinations”, they put Irish people as the more welcoming country and I haven’t been disappointed. As far as I remember, I have always been intrigued by the Irish culture. (and “PS: I love you” is one of my favorite movies for ages!)

What comes to your mind when thinking about Ireland?

To me, it was St Patrick day, local pubs, nature (I pictured every in green, obviously!), grey sky and friendly atmosphere. But it is in fact MUCH more.

I hope this gallery will help you to complete your thoughts and makes you want to visit Dublin because the city is worth the journey.

Let’s begin…

Countless displays… Sweet tooth, be prepared!

I found Bondi Beach in Dublin! Seems like the very well-known Australian beach in Sydney is also in Ireland 🙂

Situated in Drury Street, The  Considered cafe is worth to stop by!

After having a coffee AND a scone, you can visit the St George’s Market…

Some recommendations for a trip to Dublin

3FE cafe is a great spot to go to, to have a coffee with friends, to read or to get some work done. If you don’t yet, you’ll appreciate your time alone!

It is always better to visit a place with a local, right!?

My Irish friend, -who has not seen “PS: I love you” (!!!)-, provided some of her favorite spots in Dublin! (so that is fine, I like her anyway)

Here is her list:

The Bernard Shaw pub for drinks.

Secret bar or The bar with no name.

Grogans pub; old fashion design with cool art.

Iveagh gardens; hidden gem, lovely park just off Harcourt street and a good place to spend a few hours.

IMMA Irish Museum of Modern Art

For brunch:

Bibi’s cafe

The pepper pot

The Cake cafe
